GoodRx Helps is proud to support the careers of students from underrepresented groups. They are committed to finding ways to address racial and social disparities in healthcare. Know, they’ve announced their “Nurses for Change.” A new scholarship that aims to support diversity in the nursing profession since persons of color are underrepresented in nursing and hope to decrease the financial burden of education so students can focus on their training rather than the cost of it. They will award $5,000 each to 10 nursing student applicants with the most compelling ideas. The application window is from July 6 through August 15, 2022.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Be a current or recently graduated nursing student (LPN/LVN, ASN, BSN, MSN, APRN, DNP)
Have completed their last semester no earlier than spring 2022 (if a recent graduate)
Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
Self-identify as a person from an underrepresented population in the healthcare field
